This policy explains which personal data we process when you visit our website, make a reservation or write to us, why we need it, who we share it with, how long we keep it and what rights you have.

When you book a table through the form on our website, by phone or by email, we process: your full name, email address, phone number, number of guests, date and time of the reservation, and any note you write.
Purpose: confirming and fulfilling your reservation and communicating with you.
Legal basis: steps taken at your request before entering into a contract and performance of the contract (Article 6(1)(b) of the General Data Protection Regulation – GDPR).
Retention: for as long as we need it to fulfil the reservation and for any further communication with you, or until you request erasure.
When you send a room enquiry or reservation, we process: your full name, email address, phone number, number of guests, room type, check-in and check-out dates, and any note you write.
Purpose: answering your enquiry, confirming and fulfilling your reservation.
Legal basis: steps taken before entering into a contract and performance of the contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).
Retention: for as long as we need it to fulfil the reservation and for any further communication with you, or until you request erasure.
On arrival we also collect the data required by law for guest registration and tourist tax, and the data needed to issue an invoice. We process this data to comply with legal obligations (Article 6(1)(c) GDPR) and keep it for as long as these regulations require (for example, invoices for 10 years under the Slovenian VAT Act).
When you write to us through the contact form or by email, we process your name, email address and the content of your message.
Purpose: answering your question.
Legal basis: our legitimate interest in replying to messages we receive (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR), or steps taken before entering into a contract if your message concerns a reservation.
Retention: for as long as we need it to reply and for any further communication with you, or until you request erasure.
Only if you allow it in the cookie settings, we use Google Analytics 4 to see how many visitors come to the website, which content they view and where they come from. A pseudonymous device identifier, pages visited, approximate location (country, city), device and browser type, and traffic source are processed. Google Analytics 4 does not store IP addresses.
Legal basis: your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR and the Slovenian Electronic Communications Act – ZEKom-2), which you can withdraw at any time.
Retention: data in Google Analytics is deleted automatically after the retention period set in Google Analytics (at most 14 months).
Only if you allow it in the cookie settings, we use Meta Pixel by Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd. (Facebook, Instagram). It tells Meta that you visited our website and which pages you viewed. Meta may link this data to your Facebook or Instagram account, if you have one. We use it to measure the performance of our ads and to show ads to people who have visited our website.
We and Meta are joint controllers for collecting and transmitting this data; Meta is responsible for any further processing under its own privacy policy.
Legal basis: your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR, ZEKom-2), which you can withdraw at any time.
The map on the Contact page and the 360° tour on the 360° Tour page are provided by Google Maps. The content only loads after you click “Show map”. Google then receives your IP address and browser information and may set its own cookies.
Legal basis: your consent given by clicking (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR).
On every visit, the server automatically records the IP address, date and time, the requested page and browser information. We need this data for security and troubleshooting.
Legal basis: our legitimate interest in operating the website securely (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Retention: up to 6 weeks, after which they are deleted automatically.

We disclose data to public authorities only when required by law. We do not sell personal data.
Postmark, Google, Meta and Microsoft may also process data in the USA. Transfers take place under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework or the standard contractual clauses adopted by the European Commission.
Cookies are small files that a website stores in your browser. We use necessary cookies without consent, because the website does not work properly without them. Analytics and advertising cookies are only set after you allow them. You can change your choice at any time via the Cookies link in the footer.

We do not carry out automated decision-making or profiling that would have legal or similarly significant effects on you.
We update this privacy policy whenever our processing changes. The current version is always published on this page, with the effective date shown at the top.
